During breakfast another of the Lords comes in and whispers to Lord Perrigrin who gets up to leave. Before departing he informs Raagnar of the charges against him, unlawful dueling, and the possible maximum sentences, up to 1000GP. After breakfast is over we are led to a small waiting area where we wait for an hour or so until time for the trial.

We are then escorted under guard into the Great Hall. The first trial begins. The rape case from the previous evening. Both survivors plead guilty and are fined and sentenced. Then the case of Raagnar and the dwarf is brought up. Raagnar tells his side of the story. The dwarf then tells his. Angstrom hired him to slit Raagnars throat. Both are found guilty of the charges brought against them and are fined. The dwarf is also sentenced to 2 years hard labor.

Rio is not asked to speak in either case and the group is led out to a nicer waiting area. Dre spots a young mage trying to get our attention and goes out to get her to join us (Enter Laurie). Rio also waits for Glow to come down from the gallery. Once in the waiting area Lord Perrigrin joins us and informs the group of Gandol Flynn's murder at Angstroms hand. He also gives us maps made of leather of much of UnderMountain that Gandol Flynn was apparently were able to hide from his murderer. Raagnar believes these are the ones that we hired him to make. He asks for them and they are freely given. We are served lunch and then released.

Raagnar suggests we head toward the Yawning Portal for a drink and to get a nice private room so we can discuss our plan of attack. While we are still out in the common area we are approached by an older human fighter who arranges jobs for adventurers. He buys us a round and tells us to look him up if we ever need a job or someone to help us on an existing job. Without divulging any information Rio replys that we might be available by next moon. We learn a bit about Beccah while talking quietly around the table, and then a bit later, we are approached by a half-orc. He is looking for Cherri. When we inform him of Cherris death he seems very disturbed and speaks of an old debt owed to the Stone Mage. He gives us a marker and then departs. Before it gets too late we head off to the Olde Monster Shop to pick up the rings. The owner explains their use. The rings go to Glow, Dre, Elrinith and Raagnar.

After leaving the Monster Shop we head back toward the grove. Raagnar, Dre and Beccah stop on the way for a drink and some merriment. Elrinith goes off to his guild for last minute instructions. Rio and Glow get back to the grove where Rio speaks to the Great Druid about their plans to depart for UnderMountain in the morning. Rio and Dre spend the night as owl and squirrel in the top of the tallest oak. Rio spends a bit of time alone at the very top and then comes down to where Glow is nestled in the crook of a large branch. A short time later Elrinith and then the rest of the group, including a human ranger accompanying Beccah, return to the grove. They tell Elrin of had an encounter with a group of street ruffians/beggars. Raagnar tossed them a coin (a platinum piece) and then they scurried away.

The next morning, bright and early, a group of clerics shows up from the temple of Suni who wish to speak with us. They thank us for saving the young girl and give us some Potions of Healing and two clerical scrolls. The first scroll has 'Animal Summoning III' and 'Find The Path'. The second has 'Protection from Evil 10' Radius'. We head for the Yawning Portal and descend into UnderMountain.
