Pick up the morning of the 28th. We are beginning flight for the day putting as much distance between us and Eltabar as we can.

The morning passes quietly but early afternoon finds us heading toward the shoreline when we spot a group of three ships travelling along the coast from the west. They turn and try to follow us. Each have two flags indicating they belong to Zass-Tam and can be seen trying to launch balistas at us. We are travelling faster than they and they fall behind. We spend the rest of the evening putting distance between us until we are forced by dusk to land in the Sea of Fallen Stars.

Illuverin and Lew have first watch. Jaret and Giblet take second. Erin and Caland take third. The night passes quietly until just before dawn when Erin spots a light on the horizon that turns out to be a lamp in the window of a ship behind us. They wake the rest of up.

It turns out that it is the same ships we saw the previous evening and A'Tora casts Gust of Wind to keep us ahead of them. They appear to be in pursuit but do not catch up before morning at which time we again become airborne.

By mid-afternoon we can see the hills of Cimbar and bring the ship down preparing to sail normally into the port. After some discussion the decision is made, because of the pursuit, not to head for the port in Cimbar but instead sail far around the harbor and hide the ship in a cove to the west of the port.

We (Lew, Illuverin, Caland, A'Tora and Giblet) then take a rowboat into Cimbar.

Highspirits recommends a shop called "The Ebony Armorer" that may have either a suit of mail or some type of protective device that Illuverin could use as something to replace his destroyed bracers.

We make it through the fens and marshes into an area of Cimbar, outside the gates, called the fens. Spotting a shop that sells musical instruments that Lew and Illuverin just have to go in. For a few minutes we split up. Illuverin goes to get some lunch while Lew goes to his patrons temple. Afterward they head into the musical instrument shop. A'Tora goes dress shopping and joins the rest of us at lunch. She has a new almost see-through dress made of sheer white lace and the guys all jump to offer her a chair when she comes into the restaurant.

After lunch we make our way into town and find an inn called the "Fifth Star". The innkeep dotes on A'Tora and she sings and dances while Lew plays several rowdy songs. The two make almost 200 GP over the course of the evening. Dunruss, the inkeep, is so stuck on A'Tora that he actually pays us to stay in the "suite".

That night A'Tora approaches Illuverin and says that she "really" enjoyed their shared dances and is hoping that he would be so kind as help rub away some of the days cares. Illuverin smiles, looks deep into her eyes and allows her to lead him back to the master suite.

In the morning Illuverin wakes and spends a few minutes watching A'Tora sleep. He runs his finger lightly along the curves of her body and finds himself holding his breath as he watches the slow rise and fall of her breasts as she sleeps.

The innkeeper gets us a carriage to take us through town. As we travel Illuverin spots the harbormaster of Eltabbar talking to a shopkeeper. Fortunately she does not see us and he lets the others know once we get past.

We get to the mage's college and are greeted by the same young woman as last time. She shows us back to the master' chamber and he informs us that it will be 3000 GP for the Divination regarding the green dragon.

He tells us that the Cult of the Dragon is trying to gather the DagonGifts for themselves. The cult consists of an ancient green, who we encountered, a young red and a mature blue who's injured a wing and can't fly. They and the small group of humanoids serve the dracolich Adilachnydoligrin. They seem to be based in the long lost city of Myth Dranor.

Lew buys two scrolls of Protection from Dragon Breath and then we head to the Ebony Armorer. The proprietor is Glaximus, a retired fighter. Illuverin speaks with him regarding several options. He settles on a good set of magical leather armor (+3) after discovering that there's no way he can afford the ring he really wants. A'Tora loans him several gems to help pay for armor and he promises to use it for furthering her defense.

As we pass back through town Giblet sees the harbormaster of Eltabbar off in the crowd again. He alerts us to her presence and we duck the cart and fortunately make our way away from her.

We warn the guard at the gate to be on the lookout for a Wizard of Thay and then head out a rapid pace. We make it back to the rowboat and return to the ship.

We set sail and fly for the rest of the day. We are heading toward Iljack where Highspirits has to get food and supplies for the expanded compliment.

During that night, first watch, the ship runs into something and is noticibly slowed. Illuverin awakens to the sound of splintering wood and screaming gnomes from the hold below.

He hurriedly puts on his armor, grabs his sword, and runs up on deck to see what's going on. Going over to the edge he sees what seems to be a huge tail thrashing in the dark water below. He sees Erin bolt down toward the hatch. Looking down he sees a large snakelike sea creature wedged into a huge hole that has been punched in the bottom of the ship. Several things cross quickly through his mind and he settles on his Potion of Animal Control back in his backpack. He quickly runs off to get it and then returns to the hatch to look below. Quaffing the potion he attempts to put the fear of Oceanis or Posiedon into the creature hopefully causing it to retreat and dive to the depths of the sea.

Amazingly the creature does begins to retreat and by the middle of the next round has removed itself from the ship. Illuverin then helps any of those still below to get back onto the slowly sinking deck. Caland manages a Wall of Force to close off the hole.

As the thing slowly swims away Jaret fires the balista at it. Seeing that Erin is pinned to the creature A'Tora jumps overboard and tries to free him. When they all float to the surface Illuverin sees that Erin has been nailed to the monster by the balista and he jumps overboard to help A'Tora free the badly wounded and nearly drowned fighter.

Illuverin cuts the guiding fletches off the balista and the two wrench Erin's body along the shaft finally freeing him to the point he can be pulled back on board.

There is some discussion on how to fill a seven-foot hole in the bottom of the ship but Highspirits seems confident that he can affect repairs if we can keep the ship from sinking in the meantime. Caland props the ship up on a Wall of Ice and Highspirits, Lew and several of the surviving gnome's work on the repairs.

Illuverin takes second watch, which passes uneventfully as does third watch. The next morning Highspirits takes a break long enough to get us flying again and then returns to his repairs.

Early morning finds Jaret ringing the bell in the crow's nest. He calls out that he has seen a wyvern in the distance. It doesn't approach us and the rest of the day passes uneventfully. We dock at Iljack shortly after sundown so that Highspirits can continue working on the repairs.

The group of us go ashore and find a quiet tavern for a meal and a drink. It's a place called the Haunted Homestead where the original owner is said to walk the halls after midnight.

Since we're going to be docked all day we get a room for the night. The evening passes uneventfully and the next morning Jaret, Erin and A'Tora go shopping. Illuverin heads back to the ship.

That night we search out a good place for Lew to play and the group of us head off for a night of levity. This time it is Lew and Erin center stage and the two do very well again making a fair bit of coin.

The next day, the 3rd of Flamerule, we set sail again toward the Deep Wash and Circe. Illuverin has watch most of the day and relinquishes the crow's nest to Erin at dusk. We land at Circe and spend a hour or so going through Customs.

Before dawn we set sail and at first light again become airborn. We arrive at Mintar by evening and the townsfolk line the docks cheering. They give a big feast in our honor and we learn that Hustava and a group of Paladins has done a great job of restoring the town. Lew plays and again a great time is had by all.

The next morning we set sail and land that night near the tip of Calamsham. The following morning we again set sail and land that night near Amn. That night we notice a school of dolphins swimming along beside the ship. The following morning we again set flight and pass by the Fields of the Dead.

We get back to Waterdeep on the 10th. Khelben Arunson meets with us soon after we get back and announces that Estarria has been kidnapped and is being held in Myth Dranor. We tell him of the Cult of a Dragon, it's members and base of operation. Khelben nods saying that it makes sense. He tells us that the third dragon gift is the Moonblade of Baeltharik the Blessed. He believes that it also is located in Myth Dranor. The owner of the blade, Arilyn Moonblade, is only a few days travel away and Khelben says that he will have her come and meet with us.
